Early viruses of this type only redistributed themselves, but with LoveLetter and the modifications of it, can now overwrite your data. Many Trojan type viruses try to use IRC or AIM IM servers to create a backdoor into your PC, creating possible intrusion problems and resulting in loss of overall system security
